What a final term we have had at Kelli Dixon Academy of Dance and Stage School!!
We have been able to be in our venues for the whole term which has been the best experience – seeing everyone back face-to-face and dancing together. You have all worked so incredibly hard and been so sensible throughout the term, well done everyone!
We have been lucky enough to be doing exams over the past 12 months, both virtually and in the studio – having a mixture of ballet, tap and modern exams across all grades. This shows the excellent progress our students have made, despite the challenging 18 months we have had to endure.
There will be another round of exams in October/November for students looking to complete these. Dates are TBC and those being entered will be informed when dates are confirmed.
To round off our term we have had students finally receive their certificates, medals and awards for exams dating all the way back to October 2019 as we missed our last awards day. It was a much more intimate affair doing awards day in class and the students had the opportunity to cheer on their friends and see all that we have achieved over the past 2 years as a school.
This is a set-up we may continue next summer. Congratulations to all of our award winners, and to our scholarship award winner Hanifa; we look forward to having you in lots more classes over the next year.

We have another exciting year coming up with a London Show at the Shaftesbury theatre on 19th December for some of our students. Tickets will be available to purchase closer to the time, so look out for these so you can come and support the rest of our KDAD family.
We also have our Disneyland Paris trip rescheduled (again!) for August 2022 for our performance team.
For all students, we will be starting to get ready for our February 2023 show, a great opportunity to work towards a big production and to showcase to your friends and family your talents on a real stage.
We will be recommencing dancing on Monday 13th September. Classes are able to booked online here from the 1st August, and we ask that you do this before the start of term. We will make a subsequent announcement when they are live.When booking ballet & tap, please purchase both at the same time to receive the discount as per normal.
